Finding the right dress size is really important while you are shopping for any dress. The wrong size would ruin your beautiful dress. Though dress sizes are quite different at many dress shops, you can always find the right one as long as you know how to determine your size. Online shopping is becoming more and more popular. First, you should measure your bust. A dress maker's soft tape measure should be perfect. You must measure the fullest part of your bust. Keep in mind, keep the measuring tape snug but not too tight. After you have measure your bust, you can bend to one side and find your waist's natural crease. Then you can measure around your waist. You’d better not keep the tape measure too tight. Turn to your hip after you have measured your waist. Similarly, measure the fullest part of your hips and rear. Write down the sizes you measured and refer to a size chart.

Here are some tips on how to use a size chart:

1.       If your measurements come between two sizes, choose the larger size.

2.       Dress size generators tend to give you the wrong sizes, so avoid them.

3.       Some stores use letters like XS, S, M instead of the typical 6, 8, 10, 12. Size 2 is XS, Size 4 is S, Size 6 is M, Size 8 is L, Size 10 is XL, Size 12 is XXL.
